PHYSICAL PERSPECTIVE


It is a platform for one to train up for ultra running in a milder way as there is no fixed distance to achieve.


One can run or walk as he wishes or as he physically could tolerate.


One can stop to rest or even take a nap as he wishes or as he need.


 


SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE


It is one thing that the person is doing only for himself without any obligation to anything or anyone.  One may suffer muscle pain, bad blisters, tummy trouble, hallucinations and lose a few toe nails, but as he crosses the finish line, the satisfaction and experience is something that no other can share.


It is an exercise for one to challenge his own mind, spirit and body.


It is an opportunity for one to test his own level of endurance and realize that his body can actually do more than what he thought he could.  90% of the people who completed an ultra-marathon say, “it is mental - it’s much more about your levels of determination than about the size of your muscles”.


It is one time in life when everyone is equal, and the individual himself decide the results, which is just like our life.

A 24-hour run is a form of ultra running, in which a competitor runs as far as he can in 24 hours. 


They are typically held on a 1 to 2km loops or occasionally 400-meter tracks.


Top runners will often run 200km or more, depending on conditions and the best can go beyond 270km.


Some participants will have a crew to help them while some would just set up a camp with all the gear and supplies they need, near the starting area to access each loop.


24-hour run is very common in the European countries and the USA and most often enough, are participated also by runners from neighbouring countries in the region.


It is in fact considered as one of the less hardcore ULTRA RUNNING, as compared to 100km, 48-hour, 72-hour, 6-days race in France and Hungary , 8-days race in Monacco, 18-days Trans Gaulle in France, Badwater race in the USA, Spartathlon in Greece and the Tor Des Geants in the Alps.


It is one of the very few sports be it for leisure or competition purpose, that can be participated by people from not just all walks of life but also all age groups and all physical conditions – a 80-years old retiree who wears a hearing aid, a blind, one with an artificial limb etc etc and they all do it at the SAME TIME, under the SAME CONDITIONS and SAME REGULATIONS.  It is a time when everyone is equal.

Mengenai diriku

aku bertolak dari alor setar ke terminal bersepadu selatan( AOR-TBS)

dalam perjalanan aku tidur...

dekat rnr aku makan sedikit...

tidur kembali....

sehingga lah tiba di TBS...


waktu tiba di TBS aku rehat dan ambil sarapan pagi 30hb january 2016..


sambil mengira bas dan org yang lalu lalang...

sebelum flagoff..

sempat beramah mesra bersama runner 

Flagoff

tepat jam 1500(3pm) kami semua di lepaskan...

permulaan yang baik ketika ini...


berlari dengan penuh kesabaran...

tiba2 badan aku jadi lemah..

ohhh.. 

kenapa macam ni...

mungkin sebab aku tak cukup tidur...

kesilapan diriku..


aku terpaksa berehat sebentar..

bagi badan aku rehat..

apakan daya..

setelah rehat..

aku teruskan larian..

layan je...

kawal step..

fokus...

bila tiba di check point aku berhenti minum..

basahkan badan..

muka.. elak mengantuk..

makan sedikit buah..

langkah seperti biasa... jalan....

lari....

aku berasa kurang bagus...

entah la....

aku teruskan larian...

biar perlahan pun takpa

aku berlari sehingga 50km..

teruskan...

sempat juga aku buat dalam masa 9jam untuk 50km..

Saat aku terpaksa berhenti

Setelah aku buat 70km... lebih kurang la.

..badan aku sudah lemah..

mata mengantuk..

tak terdaya aku teruskan larian..

aku mohon pada organiser untuk berhenti sekejap..

jadi aku buat keputusan tidur...


aku tidur selama lebih kurang 2jam

Setelah terjaga dari tidur

lebih kurang jam 7 pagi..

total masa yang tinggal 8jam...

aku baru buat 70km..


aku ambil keputusan untuk kembali seperti biasa..

run..fast walk and run..

biar cuaca panas ini menjadi cabaran buat aku..

aku mesti berlari hingga capai 100km..

bila tiba di check point aku mandi...

"siram air kat badan..."

aku teruskan berlari...

kaki masih ok..

apa yang penting minum air..

sebab cuaca panas..

heat to my records...

last year records..

untuk 24h run event...

aku mesti buat....


aku terima kasih kepada semua..

sebab sentiasa beri sokongan kepada aku...

aku teruskan berlari..


30min sebelum tamat

 masa hampir tamat...

aku mesti tambah speed..

hihihi..

kejayaaan pasti dapat..

aku boleh...

akhirnya..

aku bersyukur..

berkat usaha serta sokongan dari semua..

aku berjaya tamatkan perlumbaan..

dalam masa yang sama ini adalah personal best aku untuk 24h endurance run..
