Concept of Run on TDMR#1

  1. Essentially, one core runner will start off the run by running the first sector, followed by the next core runner in the next sector, then the next core runner over the subsequent sector, and so on;
  2. In the case where theres some guest runners who can run certain sectors, the core runners will stop running, and let the guest runner run those sectors.  The core runners will take over from the guest runners when we have no more guest runner to continue running the subsequent sectors;
  3. For example, certain guest runners from Penang will run a few sectors when the core runners arrive in Penang.  Then the guest runners will run a few sectors until the core runners take over to carry on the run to Kedah;
  4. Some core runners may like to run a sector a day every day with or without any guest runner if he/she choose to.  In such a case, some guest runners may run together with these core runners;
  5. We need to know the number of runners, the dates and time of your availability and the location of the sectors that you would like to do.

It is foreseeable that the core runners will do most of the run on their own in remote country sides in certain less populated states, and most guest runners will be running sectors around the cities.

When core runner is running, he/she will normally be running on his/her own.  Guest runners, may choose to run on his/her own, or to accompany the core runner or guest runners.  We will limit total runners on the road at any one time to 4 as the maximum.  For some narrow sectors, we may limit that to even 1 runner for safety reason.

Total cost will be shared among the core runners. The cost is varible, as it depends on the type of accommodations we stay in standard during the course of the 12 days.  We are trying to get all kind of sponsorship and financial support for this event, and will appreciate help from the running communities and public in general. We do know that most costs will essentially be borne by the core runners themselves.

Now we are open for registration for both core runners and guest runners.

For core runners, you know what is expected of you in terms of multi-day - 50k running ability, time, cost and team spirit commitment, so just let us know your running credentials.
